Kochi: A Soosai Manickam, Divisional Manager, LIC, has said that the LIC South Zone was targeting a premium collection of Rs. 203 crore in 2016-17 fiscal. The zone comprising Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry divisions will achieve the target by November itself, he added.
''LIC’s pension schemes and single-premium endowment policies are the most sought-after products,” said Manickam, who pointed out that LIC Ernakulam Division was number one in the entire south zone and third among 113 divisions in the country in terms of premium collections.
He also announced the launch of LIC ‘Bima Diamond’, a non-linked, traditional money- back policy, as part of LIC’s diamond jubilee year celebrations.
