Instio (www.instio.co) is a tablet-based on-premise customer experience management system that was launched in 2016 and is not just a feedback mechanism. “People hate feedback sites offering option for rating, especially hotel and restaurant managements. They may not be very tech savvy and yet they have to track feedback and respond accordingly,” says Suma G Prabhu, who co-founded Instio along with her husband Girish Prabhu. The two major areas they focus on are staff mobility and workforce management, and guest experience management. Net Promoter Score has been used as a yardstick by Instio for improving customer engagement. There are also built-in internal algorithms to identify customer satisfaction drivers. The six-member team of Instio operates from the NASSCOM Startup Warehouse in Kochi. Girish has over 18 years of IT project and product management experience working with TCS, Nielsen and Arbitron while Suma is an engineer with over eight years of experience as developer and database architect.
