ESPOiR Gives Wings to Career Dreams of 77 Aspirants

Kochi: It is an irrefutable fact that Gulf countries have played a key role in shaping the economy of Kerala, which now has become a model for all states in the country. Even when a job crisis in the Gulf region has become a cause of concern for Keralites, institutions like Eram Group’s ESPOiR has joined hands with the State Government undertaking Kerala Academy for Skill Excellence (KASE) with a vision to recruit skilled candidates to prospective companies abroad.

Fulfilling the dreams of the qualified young graduates to work abroad, ESPOiR is giving international placement to its 77 trainees, who have successfully completed their skill training course from the academy on April 14, 2018.

ESPOiR Academy, which is a joint venture of Kerala Academy for Skill Excellence (KASE) – the skill development mission of Kerala Government – and ERAM Group, aims to increase the number of professionally qualified employees from Kerala. These 77 trainees got placement through AL-Suwaiket Support Services in various projects under Saudi ARAMCO, one of the he largest oil producing companies in the world.

T P Ramakrishnan, Minister for Labour & Skill, Kerala, distributed the travel documents and visa to these candidates at a function organised at ESPOiR in INKEL Business Park, Angamaly. Roji M John, MLA, Angamaly, presided over the meeting. Dr. Siddeek Ahmed, Chairman and Managing Director of ERAM Group, delivered the keynote address. Travel documents and visa were distributed by Dr. Hassan, CEO of Al-Suwaikat Support Services. Muhammed Y Safirullah, District Collector, Ernakulam; M A Gracy, Municipal Chairperson, Angamaly; Saji Varghese, Municipal Vice Chairman and P T Paul, Block Panchayat President, Angamaly were the guests of honour. Sriram Venkitaraman, Managing Director, KASE welcomed the gathering and Poulose Theppala, Centre Director, ESPOiR Academy proposed the vote of thanks.

At ESPOiR, skill training will be provided by faculty who have decades of experience in companies abroad. In addition, language training, safety training and personality development classes are also offered. ESPOiR is also the Trade Testing Centre of many well-known overseas companies.

“Since its inception in December 2015, ESPOiR has placed around 300 candidates in various companies in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Nigeria and Zambia, among others,” said Poulose Theppala, Centre Director.

Overseas employment with attractive salary is the dream of many Indian youth. This dream is fulfilled through ESPOiR, the venture by KASE and ERAM Group.

Qualified BTech graduates, diploma and ITI holders can join ESPOiR and obtain an attractive job either in India or abroad after the successful completion of training. Poulose Theppala said that almost all trainees who have successfully completed their training from ESPOiR, are well placed.

ESPOiR is also the approved skill training centre of IISC, which functions under National Skill Development Corporation. ESPOiR also conducted a skill and job fair to mobilize candidates for Saudi Aramco Project and enrol trainees to the courses of India International Skill Centre (IISC), under NSDC.

As a part of ERAM’s social responsibility, Dr. Siddeek Ahmed, Chairman and Managing Director of Eram Group, is also planning to give Basic Life Support Training (BLS) along with American Heart Association certification to the operation and maintenance staff of KMRL. KMRL MD Muhammed Haneesh and Dr. Siddeek Ahmed exchanged the MoU for BLS training.
