‘Bond Ocean Safari’ Holding Workshop on Underwater Photography

Bond Ocean Safari

Thiruvananthapuram: Suppose you are heading for a scuba diving mission. Wouldn’t you wish to capture the marine beauty and your diving moments for eternity? Here’s your chance to have the experts take you through the various steps involved. Kovalam’s first professional scuba diving service – Bond Ocean Safari – is organising a workshop on underwater photography on January 11 at Hycinth by Sparsa.

“While photography is a play of light and shade, capturing a perfect picture when you are underwater can become tricky. This is because the ambient light underwater is not the same as on land. To make it easy, you need to know how to dive and then you need to know how and what gear you require for this adventure,” said Jackson Peter, Managing Partner, Bond Ocean Safari.

The workshop organised by Bond Safari is mainly for professional photographers and photography enthusiasts. The workshop will introduce attendees to the world of scuba diving and the equipment used for it. The workshop will also cover topics on the marine ecosystem off the coast of Kerala.

The experts will explain the cameras and various types of equipment that are used to shoot underwater. The workshop will guide the audience to understand how to be a PADI-certified underwater photographer.
Marine life and underwater photography experts like Anup J Kattukaran, Dr. (Capt.) Shanthanu, Subin J Kalarikkal, Shibin Sebastian and Aneesha Benedict will be the key speakers during the workshop.

Bond Safari is the first PADI-certified scuba diving resort in Kerala. Bond Safari diving centre is situated in Kovalam. The vision statement of Bond Safari Kovalam is to revolutionize adventure tourism industry in India through innovative and exciting adventure tourism products.
