KINFRA Bags Indywood Excellence Award


Hyderabad: Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) has received the prestigious Indywood Built-in-India Excellence Award 2017. Sandhya Puttyah Jugnauth, Minister for Arts and Culture, Mauritius presented the award to Wing Commander (Rtd) K A Santhosh Kumar, KINFRA Managing Director, at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Nanda Narrainen, Head – Film Industry, Board of Investment, Mauritius ; Sohan Roy, Chairman, Aries Group of Companies and Founder and Director Indywood Film Carnival; and Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qahtani, Senior Advisor, Saudi Arabia were also present. The function was organised by Indywood and Government of Telangana State.

Indywood Excellence Awards recognise and facilitate efforts made by organisations to boost the concept of ‘Make in India’ and improve our country’s standing in the international arena. The awards were given in different categories.

The winners included Bharat Electronics Ltd. (Public Sector – Electronics); HMT (Public Sector – Precision engineering); ITI Ltd (Public sector – Telecommunications); JSW Energy Limited (Manufacturing – Power); Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited (Manufacturing – Minerals and Metals); Voltas Domestic Projects Group (Manufacturing – Build Environment); Essar Heavy Engineering Services (Manufacturing – Heavy engineering); Titan Company Ltd. (Manufacturing – Consumer goods); Blue Star VRF V Plus (Manufacturing – Indigenous innovative product); Kwality Photonics Pvt. Ltd. (Manufacturing – LED Products); and Tibrewala Electronics Ltd (Manufacturing – Electronics.

‘Indywood Built In India Excellence Awards 2017’ function was organised as a part of Project Indywood, a USD 10 Billion Project to be initiated by a consortium of 2,000 Indian corporate and Multimillionaires.
