Thai Cuisine Festival at Kochi Marriott from May 5

Kochi: Kochi Marriott Hotel’s food mascot Jimmy Rocks brings home the best of the exotic flavours from the streets of Thailand from May 5 to 14. ‘Jimmy Rocks’ during his culinary journey happen to meet Chef Kamol Chukaew, popularly known as Chef Mol, at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, Thailand.

Kamol is a master chef himself in Thai cuisines with more than 24 years of experience. He would spearhead the preparations at the festival held at Kochi Kitchen.

The Thai culinary journey will offer guests a visual delight as well as a discovery of unique flavours for the palate. Chef Mol has meticulously designed a menu with a good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from across Thailand.

There will be an exclusive cookery class led by Chef Mol on May 6 between 3 pm and 5 pm along with high tea.

Speaking on this, Anand Ganesan, General Manager said, “Food is very central to the Indian traveler’s experience in Thailand. Like ‘Jimmy Rocks’, most travelers are truly impressed by Thai cuisine and like to experiment with as much as possible with every subsequent trip to Thailand. So great is their fascination with Thai food that many even learn the art of authentic Thai cuisine through lessons undertaken during their stay in Thailand. We are glad to bring this food heritage in a form of a food festival for the people of Kochi”.

Guests dining during the festival period stand a chance to participate in our grand Lucky Draw Contest for which the official airline partner is Silk Air. The lucky draw vouchers are available at the restaurant reception. The grand prize winner will be announced during the closing ceremony after the food promotion. The winner of the grand lucky draw will earn a to and fro ticket to Thailand along with a 2 night stay at the Marriott.
