Film Buffs Get Yet another Venue Offering Digital Treat


Thiruvananthapuram: SPI Cinemas, a Chennai-based multiplex chain and a leading player in the entertainment industry, has entered the Kerala market with the re-launch of Muthoot Pappachan Group’s (MPG) iconic Kripa Cinema in Thiruvananthapuram.

We are confident that film lovers in Thiruvananthapuram will enjoy the wonderful experience of premium seating, 2K digital projection, Dolby Sound System & Dolby Atmos Sound in our beautiful auditoriums.” Kripa Cinemas also offers 24/7 online ticket reservation system making it easier to book tickets anytime and anywhere.

SPI Cinemas is also introducing a handful of extra services to guarantee a comfortable theatre experience. “If you feel the temperature inside the theatre is too low you can get in touch with the staff through a WhatsApp number. There is also a provision to provide pillows and blankets at a nominal charge,” informed Swaroop Reddy. Another special feature is booster seats for children so that their eye level remains the same as that of adults. “For watching 3D films, we have small child-friendly glasses, and for those who wear specs we offer clip-ons so that the glasses stay in place,” he added.

‘‘People can also book tickets on the website – or through SPI Cinemas mobile application. You can see the movie schedule, pre-book tickets and food on the app. You do not have to stand in the queue as you can even order food along with the tickets.
