Joint Commission International Accreditation for Rajagiri Hospital

Kochi; Rajagiri Hospital here has earned the Joint Commission International’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Hospital Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its internationally-recognised standards.

The certificate of Accreditation was received by Fr. Johnson Vazhappilly CMI, Executive Director and CEO, Rajagiri Hospital from Paula Wilson, President and CEO, Joint Commission International (JCI) at their headquarters in Chicago, USA.

The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organisation’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.

“Rajagiri Hospital is pleased to receive accreditation from Joint Commission International, the premier healthcare quality improvement and accrediting body in the world,” said Fr. Johnson Vazhappilly CMI, Executive Director and CEO, Rajagiri Hospital. “Staff from across the organisation continue to work together to develop and implement approaches and strategies that have the potential to improve care for the patients in our community,” Fr. Johnson Vazhappilly added.

The hospital had received National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) accreditation earlier this year.
