TRIMA 2016 Concludes


Thiruvananthapuram: TRIMA 2016, the two-day annual management convention of Trivandrum Management Association (TMA), concluded here the other day. Pinarayi Vijayan, State Chief Minister, inaugurated the valedictory session of the event.

Speaking on the occasion, he said: “The industrial sector harbours many wrong notions and this has resulted in the State lagging behind in the sector. The Government is chalking out a comprehensive industrial policy to address this issue.”

The Chief Minister said the government has widened the scope of Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) to mobilise funds, apart from budgetary allocation. “Kerala is known for its rich human resources, and educated people are the strength of the State. The government is unveiling many programmes aimed at them,” he said.

The Chief Minister also presented TRIMA Management Leadership Award to Nandakumar, CEO, SunTech and the best student management paper presentation honour, TMA-KIMS Award, to M Sharon, MBA student of Institute of Management in Kerala.
