Adeeb Ahamed Appointed Director of Waqf Development Corporation


New Delhi: Government of India has appointed prominent non-resident Keralite (NRK) businessman Adeeb Ahamed as member of the director board of National Waqf Development Corporation (Nawadco), an enterprise under the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Established on the basis of the recommendation of Sachchar Committee, Nawadco is an important institution for the development of Waqf properties and for community welfare. It will play a major role in providing financial assistance to set up schools, colleges, hospitals and institutions of higher education.

Ahamed, who is based in the United Arab Emirates, is the Chief Executive Officer of LuLu Financial Group which manages LuLu International Exchange. He is also the Managing Director of Twenty14 Holdings and MD of Tablez Retail Pvt. Ltd.

A multifaceted professional and philanthropist, Adeeb Ahamed’s leadership has helped establish more than 130 branches of LuLu Exchange across nine countries within seven years.
Twenty14 Holdings, the hospitality investment firm, owns prestigious properties like the Great Scotland Yard in London, Steigenberger Business Bay Hotel in Dubai and the Sheraton Oman Hotel in Muscat.
