FICCI Seminar on Publishing at Kochi Literature Festival


Kochi: Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in association with Kochi International Book Festival (KIBF) 2016 is organising a ‘Seminar on Publishing’  as part of Kochi Literature Festival 2016 on December 9 from 9.30 am at BTH Bharath Hotel Auditorium.

Dr. K Sreenivasa Rao, Secretary, Sahitya Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India will inaugurate the Seminar.

Seminar on Publishing will have sessions on ‘Future of Indian Publishing: Author’s Perspective’, ‘Digital Rights Management (DRM) and Combating Book Piracy in the Digital Age’ and ‘Printing Technology: Latest Trends’.

Vikrant Mathur, Director, Nielsen India will make the Theme Presentation – Publishing Sector in India. Rubin D’ Cruz, Senior Malayalam Editor and In-Charge, Kochi Book Promotion Centre, National Book Trust; Ameet Dutta, Partner, Saikrishna & Associates; R Gopalakrishnan, former Secretary, Kerala Sahitya Academy and Sumeet Gupta, Director & Head – Publishing Sector, FICCI will be the moderators for various sessions.
