Kalyan Jewellers Opens Five More Showrooms in Karnataka

Kochi: Kalyan Jewellers has opened five new showrooms in Karnataka at Udupi, Shivamogga, Hassan, Davanagere and Ballari with an investment of Rs.150 crore. Shivarajkumar, film star and brand ambassador of Kalyan Jewellers, along with T S Kalyanaraman, Chairman and Managing Director, Kalyan Jewellers, and Rajesh Kalyanaraman and Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Directors, inaugurated the showrooms on July 7.

The company, which entered into the Karnataka market in 2010, already has branches in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi and Belagavi. With the launch of these new showrooms, Kalyan will have 12 showrooms in the State.

All the five showrooms feature Kalyan’s gold, diamond, uncut and precious stone-studded jewellery designs from across the country. The showrooms will have an exclusive section displaying Kalyan’s popular house brands such as Mudhra, handcrafted antique jewellery; Ziah, an exquisite range of diamond jewellery; Glo-Dancing diamonds; Nimah, authentic heritage jewellery; Anokhi, uncut diamonds; Apoorva, diamonds for special occasions; Antara, wedding diamonds; Hera, daily wear diamonds and Rang, precious stones jewellery.

The investment in Karnataka is part of our strategy to double our retail presence in the country over the next three years,’’ said T S Kalyanaraman. The company is planning to spread it operations to Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Singapore, Malaysia, Bahrain and Oman.
