Kochi: Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) along with Google is organising a ‘Google-FICCI Digital Marketing Certification Programme’ here on May 4 to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) unlock exponential growth.

The event will be held from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm at the Conference Hall, Kerala Merchants Chamber of Commerce (KMCC), Alliance Residency, Marine Drive.

P V Velayudhan, Director, MSME-Development Institute, under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, will inaugurate the programme.

‘Digital Unlocked ‘ is a training programme and an initiative by Google for creating awareness about digitization among SMBs. The main aim of launching the new initiative is to empower thousands of SMBs with essential digital skills for utilising the power of Internet, creating their online presence, launching and executing cost-effective targeted digital marketing campaigns, reaching out to a wider audience, increasing the sales volumes, keeping a consistent connect with the potential customers, staying competitive in the market place etc. Experts from Google will lead the sessions. Successful candidates will get Google-FICCI certificate.
