Federal Bank Introduces Robot’s Service at Koramangala Branch

Kochi: The Federal Bank has introduced a Robot working on Artificial Intelligence to man its ‘May I Help You’ counter at its newly-shifted branch at Koramangala in Bengaluru.

The Robot answers queries, welcomes customers to the Branch, guides them to the right counter and introduces them to the appropriate staff mentioning their name and also explains various Banking products to the customers.

The new branch premises were inaugurated by Jahanzeb Akhtar IRS, Income Tax Commissioner, at a function presided over by Shyam Srinivasan, MD & CEO, Federal Bank, the other day.

Sampth D, CGM & Network 2 Head; Nandakumar V, DGM & Zonal Head; Rathish R, AGM & Regional Head and Predeep K, AGM & Branch Head were also present.

The occasion also witnessed the Bank donating a vehicle to ‘Akshya Patra Foundation’, a non-profit organisation, as a gesture of goodwill and social responsibility. The Bank, as part of its ‘Go Green’ mission, distributed tree saplings to all the attendees at the venue.
