Kochi: Swiss watch major Rado officially launched its lightnessinspired collection at the Rado Boutique at LuLu Mall in Kochi recently. Hrithik Roshan, the brand ambassador of Rado, flew down to Kochi to take part in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Roshan said, “For someone like me who believes that ‘less is more’, this collection draws all my love.” Many of Rado’s latest standout pieces have been crafted using the brand’s signature material, hi‐tech ceramic, which is one of the lightest and most durable materials used in luxury watchmaking. On the occasion, Hafiz Salahuddin, Director, Swiss Time House Group, said, “This has been a dream come true for us as well as the fans of Hrithik Roshan and admirers of Rado’s fine craftsmanship. We are sure Rado’s stunning line-up of luxury watches will satisfy the most discerning customers.”

WATCH STATION INTERNATIONAL

South Indian film sensation Nikki Galrani inaugurated Kerala’s first and India’s largest Watch Station International at MG Road in Kochi recently. An initiative of Swiss Time House Group, the 2400-sq. ft. showroom houses seven brands from the stable of Fossil Group Inc., namely Michael Kors, Fossil, Diesel, Skagen, DKNY, Emporio Armani and Champs. Hafiz Salahuddin, Director, Swiss Time House Group said, “This is a unique ‘factory’ format of Fossil Group wherein the customer will get 30 per cent off always which I am sure will be very attractive especially to the youth.”

SULAIMANS WATCH COMPANY

Multi-brand watch outlet Sulaimans Watch Company has shifted recently to a new premises opposite the Citibank at MG Road in Ernakulam. Sulaimans, which has been functioning since 1968, retails watches from brands like Casio, Citizen, Titan, Timex, Sonata, Fastrack, Q&Q, Sartime and Giordano. Tissot will be added to the portfolio soon. “For years we were at Jos Junction. We had to shift to Pallimukku due to the commissioning of Kochi Metro. However, we found a right place with parking facility next to Watch Station International. We are making this area of MG Road a ‘watch zone,’ so to speak,” said owner Nizar Sulaiman.
